Graffiti Details
Today, while waiting for my car to get checked at the garage, I visited the "Hall of Fame" in Bremen-Woltmershausen and decided to take a couple of graffiti detail fotos rather than complete pieces. I like how this detail pictures just look like abstract paintings of their own...
Magic of the 90´s
While shopping today in Bremen´s "Viertel" I took a photo of this "Rusty"-piece. When I looked at it, I just knew it must be from 1995. Found exactly this date written on the left side of the piece (it´s not on the photo though). This is to me a perfect example of the magic I felt for Graffiti in the mid-nineties in my hometown Bremen - it´s still a burner, I think!
My “Fuck Off-Piece”
Yesterday I painted a wall together with a couple of old graffiti mates. It was quite spontaneous and I started freestyling with only a vague idea in mind. In the middle of work I felt that the shape of my letters didn´t really seem to fit my idea. I got so fucked off with it then that I decided to finish it quickly with just a bubble background and white outlines and call it the "Fuck Off-Piece"! Usually I´m that type of guy that starts looking and thinking and re-thinking about my artwork and then go on with it for days, not being able to relax until I brought it to a good end, but not this time.
Hek wanted to convince me to at least work out my outlines in a better way and do something more with the 3D, but I was not in the mood anymore. So later he did it himself on my piece. He was a bit drunk though and also the white paint was empty too soon, but you get the idea:

Here you can see the whole wall and the pieces of the others:
